About The Event

You are cordially invited to our Bronx County Medical Society Virtual Educational Session & Celebration honoring our Immediate Past President, Dr. Michelle Stern, in our 107th Year of Service. We look forward to your attendance at our virtual event on Sunday, November 21, 2021 from 5-7 PM.

Our event hopes to acknowledge and celebrate the vast community across New York State committed to a healthier Bronx.  For physicians, so much of addressing the deep inequities faced by our Bronx community is improving the health outcomes of our patients.  Dr. Mauvareen Beverley will be giving an enlightening presentation titled: “Patient Engagement & Cultural Competence- The Human Experience” highlighting how improving physician-patient relationships leads to better health outcomes and stronger therapeutic alliances.  Dr. Beverley will discuss how changes in physician behavior have a beneficial effect on patient engagement, the patient experience and health outcomes of vulnerable populations.

We will be honoring Michelle Stern MD our Immediate Past President.  Dr. Stern has been an outstanding President, a champion of the health and wellness of her patients and our Bronx community and we thank her for her dedication and remarkable service as Bronx County Medical Society President 2020-2021.

Thank you for joining us in celebration.
